£40-£45k + 5% commission up to £300k target 10% commission on everything above target

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international events business delivering high-impact conferences across the UK and US.
The company partners with some of the world’s most recognisable brands across innovation, healthcare, and finance, including Organon, Hologic, BlackRock, and HSBC.
This is a small, ambitious team with a strong entrepreneurial culture and big growth plans. They’re looking for a driven Sales Lead who’s ready to take ownership, shape commercial strategy, and play a key role in scaling the business.
The Role
The Sales Lead will take full responsibility for sponsorship and partnership sales across a portfolio of flagship events. This is a consultative role, focused on developing long-term client relationships and delivering creative commercial solutions that align with brand objectives.
Importantly, this business doesn’t believe in micromanaging call numbers or “smash the phones” sales tactics, success here comes from meaningful conversations and strategic outreach. You’ll use a mix of methods, from personalised email campaigns and LinkedIn engagement to face-to-face networking to connect with senior decision-makers and build lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sponsorship and partnership revenue across multiple event portfolios.
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value deals.
* Build strong, consultative relationships with senior stakeholders across global organisations.
* Use creative, multi-channel outreach to start conversations and generate opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver bespoke partnership packages.
* Represent the brand at UK and US events, meeting clients and building networks.
About You
* 3+ years’ experience in B2B event sponsorship
* Proven track record of managing big-ticket deals (average deal value ~£30k).
* Strong relationship-builder with a consultative and strategic sales approach.
* Comfortable driving your own pipeline using varied outreach techniques, not just cold calls.
* Commercially minded, ambitious, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
Package & Progression
* Competitive base salary + uncapped commission:
* 5% commission up to £300k target
* 10% commission on everything above target
