A forward-thinking residential and mixed-use property developer with an impressive pipeline of high-quality London schemes is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity offering involvement from acquisition through to completion, working across some of the capital’s most dynamic developments.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the development, design, and delivery teams to ensure each project is commercially robust and executed to the highest standards. You’ll play a key role in driving the financial success of new residential and mixed-use schemes across London.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead cost planning, procurement, and financial control across multiple London projects
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, development budgets, and feasibility studies
* Manage tender processes and negotiate with contractors and suppliers
* Track project progress, variations, and valuations
* Provide commercial guidance during design and construction
* Support value engineering and investment decision-making
* Produce clear, reliable cost reports for senior stakeholders
About You
* 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (developer, contractor, or consultancy background)
* Strong understanding of residential construction and London project cost management
* Proven track record of managing budgets and delivering value
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple live projects
