Education Solicitor - Bristol
Chadwick Nott are delighted to be instructed by a leading national law firm who is looking for an Education Solicitor to play a key role within our Public Law & Human Rights team. You'll be trusted to manage your own caseload, support junior colleagues, and work on matters that genuinely change lives.
The Opportunity
* Running a caseload of complex education matters, including SEND Tribunal appeals.
* Advising on a wide range of education law issues such as:
o School admissions, exclusions & disability discrimination cases
o Complaints against local authorities & schools
o Judicial Reviews & UTT appeals
o Advice to schools/colleges on safeguarding and education law
o EHCP health checks & SEN strategy advice
o Community care law linked to education matters
* Handling a mix of privately and publicly funded work.
* Supervising junior colleagues and reviewing case files.
* Building strong relationships with clients, charities, and education organisations.
* Writing and delivering training, seminars, and articles to share expertise.
What We're Looking For
* Solid experience in education law (public law/community care knowledge an advantage).
* Confidence to work independently on issued cases.
* Resilience, empathy, and the ability to support vulnerable clients.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for achieving justice.
