We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented asbestos operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asbestos, non-licensed and licensed work. Ensuring that company systems, procedures and legislative requirements are being implemented. Assist in helping the company become recognised as a leading supplier of asbestos removal and associated services.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be part of a specialised team of asbestos removal personnel working with varied clients and carrying out expert and safe removal of asbestos containing materials in strict accordance with the company safety and removal systems and procedures whilst maintaining and working in line with legislative requirements and best practice.

* To carry out asbestos removal (Non-Licensed & Licensed ) works as instructed by Supervisors and Management to a high standard.
* To cary out and record pre-use/ daily checks on RPE and equipment.
* To assist in other site works and operations as and when required.
* Build enclosures and ensure all control mechanisms are in place before work commences
* Read and understand the plan of worksand risk assessmentsfor each job you are assigned to
* Record work activity carried out in relation to all asbestos tasks and any disposed materials
* Ensure site/ van cleanliness during and upon completion of work
* To deliver service in accordance with allinternal procedures and the H&S Policy
* Ensure that legislative requirements are always undertaken maintained
* Undergo specific training applicable to on site tasks when required (i.e. MEWPS, ConfinedSpace Training etc)
* Pre use Respirator Checks
* Medical Surveillance
* Continued Personnel Development
* Attending Safety Briefings / meetings when required
* Share knowledge and best practice techniques with members of the working team
* Be part of working team, be able to work under supervision, be a team player

* Asbestos Removal Operatives Training
* Asbestos Mecdical Certificate
* Full Face Fits and Hald Face Mask Fits
* Previous experience with proof (perferable).
* Driving licensed (perferable)
* Presentable
* Good attention to detail with the ability to undertand and follow instruction

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
