Overview
An exciting opportunity to join the Maternity Team to manage, lead and develop the service user engagement and experience function within Maternity, ensuring service provision meets all statutory obligations and mandatory local/national objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead all aspects of service coordination, including service user experience and engagement across Maternity Services.
* Ensure compliance with national standards for service user experience and engagement management.
* Work closely with clinicians, managers and pathway leads to use service user experience and feedback to improve quality and experience of care.
* Provide strong leadership within Maternity, be highly visible and accessible to staff, students and other learners.
* Drive up standards of service user experience and engagement, ensuring essential components are met for staff and quality of service.
* Act as Matron and support the PALS, Patient Experience/Complaints Managers to further develop and promote patient experience.
* Lead and be accountable for delivery of National Patient Survey programmes, internal patient experience surveys, feedback and Friends and Family Test across the organisation.
* Serve as lead contact for the Trust and partner with Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Maternity Voices Partnership.
* Report to Lead for Patient Experience and Engagement, providing quarterly updates and annual reports to Trust Board.
* Support the development and management of the Trust Patient Experience & Engagement Steering Group and attend other committees/groups as required.
* Develop and facilitate patient and carer stories at all levels, including Trust Board and various forums/training events.
