This position requires a strategic thinker with the credibility to influence at all levels, and the technical depth to strengthen quality systems, develop capability, and drive continuous improvement across complex engineering environments. The Opportunity The Business Quality Manager will be responsible for: Quality Strategy & Governance Developing and delivering a unified quality strategy across the organisation. Setting and managing business-wide quality objectives and KPIs. Analysing quality data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Quality Culture & Capability Designing and delivering quality training to uplift capability across teams. Building and nurturing a cross-business quality community. Mentoring and supporting quality professionals and champions. Management Systems & Audit Leading the development of consistent, lean quality processes and procedures. Managing first-party audit plans, and supporting second/third-party audit activity. Overseeing non-conformance close-out and leading management review processes. Operational Excellence Supporting project teams on quality planning, digital tools, and handover strategy. Providing guidance on incidents, issues, best practice and lessons learned. Contributing quality leadership into tenders, PQQs and work-winning activity. About You We are seeking a candidate with: Significant experience in quality management within engineering or construction. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Expertise in developing and improving management systems. A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused mindset. Chartered Quality Professional status (or working towards it). Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
