About the Role

Job title: Cluster Sales Manager, Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin, Newcastle (note: original listing references Malmaison Hotel Liverpool). Competitive Salary, 45 Hours. Permanent Contract. This role involves maximizing revenue across the Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties in Newcastle and driving the Hotels Sales and Marketing plan. Reporting into the General Managers and the Regional Director of Sales you will ensure that both brands are represented while actively looking for new opportunities and cross selling all hotels within Mal / HdV.

You will manage and lead the inquiry process, ensure the training and communication within the department and across the two hotels is implemented with maximum efficiency and develop strong relationships with guests within the hotels. You will be a self-starter, organized and able to prioritize actions whilst managing tasks through to completion. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form are essential, as is confidence in presenting to senior decisionmakers in other businesses. Experience in a similar role and a working knowledge of the hotel industry are beneficial.


Responsibilities

* Drive the Hotels Sales and Marketing plan for Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties in Newcastle
* Represent both brands and actively pursue new opportunities; cross-sell all hotels within the group
* Manage and lead the inquiry process; train and communicate within the department and across two hotels
* Develop strong relationships with guests and key decision makers
* Prioritize actions and manage tasks through to completion
* Present to senior decision makers when required


Qualifications

* Experience in a similar role is beneficial
* Working knowledge of the hotel industry
