Responsibilities
Tasks include Supporting and Supervising Kinship Foster Carers, facilitating Support Groups and assisting with Duty tasks which include undertaking Viability Assessments and Regulation 24 Assessments. Regular supervision and training and development opportunities are provided for all staff members.
Qualifications
You will have a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Ideally you will be an experienced supervising social worker or have transferable skills from working closely with Kinship Foster carers and or Foster Carers. Ideally you will have experience of Kinship Care arrangements which include Special Guardianship Orders. You will need to be flexible in your approach to working hours and meeting the needs of the service.
