JOB FILLED. For a HNW couple with two young children (B18 months, G3), we are looking for a qualified nanny to work from their home in Kensington, London. Sole charge and proxy parenting experience essential.
The small family live in a large 4 bedroom townhouse in Kensington with a small court yard and garden. The parents are professionals and go to work every day, so the nanny is in sole charge. This is why they prefer a nanny with child care qualifications and excellent experience with similar ages. The family is relaxed and easy going. There is a daily p/t housekeeper who looks after the property. There are two cats.
The duties of the Nanny/PA:
* Getting children ready for nursery
* Taking them to or picking them up from nursery (walking distance)
* Tidying children’s rooms and toys
* Ordering books and update toys
* Planning outings or organizing play dates (using the parent's car)
* Preparing light organic meals for the children
* Proxy parenting when required (paid extra)
* Reporting and updating the parents (keeping a journal)
Requirements of the Nanny/PA:
* Childcare qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 3 or similar)
* Clean driver license and experienced in driving in London
* 5 years’ experience as a Nanny (including proxy parenting)
* Legal to live and work in the UK
* Live within a commutable distance to Kensington
* Written references from past families
* Valid First Aid Certificate
* Recent security check
The parents are looking for a supportive Nanny who can be a role model to the children. Key is someone who fits in with the family to encourage the children's learning. Proxy parenting of 2-3 days at a time including some weekends once a month at the most (paid extra). For this the nanny uses the guest bedroom and bathroom. Some travel during the school holidays, Use of the family car. Lunch provided.
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 7pm with an hour for lunch
