This full-time, temporary role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a play-based, child-centred environment and understands the importance of early development, curiosity, and confidence. The school has a warm, inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and a collaborative Early Years team that works closely together to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.
The Role
As the Reception Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
• Observe, assess, and track progress to inform next steps in learning
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Reception or Early Years (ECTs are welcome)
• Be warm, patient, and highly organised
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development
• Be committed to inclusive practice and high-quality early education
