Senior Client Manager

Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of regular clients. Monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Assist with basic client tax planning.
* Involvement with ad-hoc work to include:
o Forecasting
o Cashflows
o Providing financial & tax due diligence
o Some development opportunities
* Reviewing junior work.
* Responsible for delivery of both statutory and management accounts with tax returns both personal and corporate.
* Working with division manager and directors.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare management accounts, vat returns and financial forecasts
* Oversee and where necessary complete book keeping exercises.
* Preparing corporation tax computations and need a good knowledge of all areas of taxation.
* Ability to complete a set of accounts from client records to completion.
* Discussing and resolving accounts queries with clients.
* Preparing accounts files to high standard for partner/associate review.
* Take a leading role in managing client assignments from the planning stage all the way through to delivery to client.
* Reviewing work prepared by juniors/other team members and providing feedback where necessary
* Other ad-hoc administration duties in relation to client requirements
* Identifies potential problems/areas of risk and uses initiative to proactively propose solutions, addresses them or report them as appropriate
* Reviews work of Subordinate
* Ensure all documented records are updated and filed in accordance with company practice
* Leads on multiple assignments simultaneously, taking personal responsibility for ensuring completion in accordance with deadlines, and pro-actively identifying potential resourcing/timing issues and discussing them with Manager
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 3 -5 years post qual - ACCA/ICEAW.
* Stat accounts FRIS102(1a) .
* Corporation Tax.
* Personal Tax.
* Management accounts.
* Good working understanding of VAT.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Experience of training/managing juniors.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Good effective communicator.
* Experience with mainstream platforms such as Xero, Sage etc.
* CCH experience a preference, but training will be given.
