Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our small teaching team in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students, particularly those with special needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, especially those with autism and other disabilities, and possess strong team work and communication skills.
Duties
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
* Support students with autism and other disabilities in their daily learning and social interactions.
* Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies that promote positive engagement.
* Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional assistance.
* Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
* Maintain clear communication with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or disabilities, is highly desirable.
* A background in special education or relevant teaching experience is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and students.
* A patient and empathetic approach towards children's learning and development.
