Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team Key Responsibilities: Quantity surveying duties in managing projects and work packages Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs Collaborative work with clients to ensure business requirements are met Managing the main contract and ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary Preparation and issuance of subcontract documentation Assisting in the management and performance of subcontractors Preparation and agreement of applications for payment Preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts Assisting in the management and development of junior commercial staff Ensuring continuous professional development through external networking and participation in industry events Maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to work with open and honest feedback Undertaking duties and training consistent with the general level of responsibility of the role Presenting a professional and positive image in all internal and external contacts Maintaining appropriate confidentiality Job Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification Working towards or having chartered membership of a recognised institution Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors Experience with NEC3 contracts Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team would be an advantage Benefits: Hybrid working options Car/car allowance (dependent on the job requirements) 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, with an additional 5 days available to buy Contribution pension scheme Life assurance Health insurance Private medical insurance If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to develop your career in the water sector, we would love to hear from you
