Activities Co-ordinator Location: Oldbury, Birmingham Hours: 22.5 hours per week Salary: £13.25 per hour We are looking to recruit a Activities Coordinator to support our patients at Oldbury, Birmingham. Coveberry Oldbury, part of The CareTech Group, is a registered locked rehabilitation Hospital with 13 en-suite bedrooms and 2 independent transitional flats providing supportive rehabilitation for men with Learning difficulties, ASC and/or mental health diagnosis. Many of our patient’s may require to be detained under the MHA for forensic risks, deprivation of liberty safeguarding to help keep them safe from harm and require a structured and safe community setting. Requirements for the role: Experience of working with Individuals with a diagnosis of Learning Disability or Autism preferred Creative Person centred Innovative Good communications skills Must be a driverMain Duties and Responsibilities: The post holder will provide Vocational, Educational and Recreational activities for the service users in the unit and via community access. Organization of activities for all service users to develop and maintain new skills.
