Overview
The Head of Quality Assurance (QA) and Test is accountable for ensuring the quality and integrity of all solutions delivered across People’s Partnership. This role will define and implement a comprehensive QA and testing strategy that modernises the organisation’s testing capability through automation, continuous integration, and agile practices. It will also establish robust controls and KPI measures to assure the quality of delivery processes, enabling faster, more reliable outcomes that meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
* Introduce modern testing frameworks, tools and practices to improve efficiency and reduce time‑to‑market.
* Establish and maintain QA frameworks, standards and continuous improvement processes.
* Build and implement controls and KPI measures to monitor and assure quality across delivery processes.
* Lead the design and delivery of test plans for all projects and programmes within the Group Change portfolio.
* Manage resource planning for internal teams and third‑party suppliers to meet demand.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership in QA and testing within large‑scale digital transformation programmes.
* Experience implementing automated testing solutions and agile delivery practices.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
* Expertise in test planning, monitoring and control across multi‑sourced environments.
* Financial Services sector experience.
