Role
Theatre Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner – Scrub (RGN / ODP), Brentwood Hospital, Nursing – Bank – Part Time, including weekend work. Up to £28 per hour depending on experience.
Main duties
* Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
* Provide high‑quality peri‑operative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, including Surgical First Assist training.

Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital is a modern, well‑equipped facility providing a wide range of services – from outpatients and minor procedures to inpatients and major surgical specialties. The hospital has 42 beds, 4 theatres, an endoscopy suite, 16 consulting rooms, MRI, CT, general imaging, pathology, physiotherapy and an onsite pharmacy. We specialise in orthopaedics, general surgery, men’s and women’s health, children’s services and cosmetic surgery, and we have recently completed a major refurbishment of the endoscopy unit. Qualifications
* Registered with the relevant governing body (NMC or HCPC).
* Bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration.
Experience
* Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment.
* Team‑player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
