A private sector, business-to-business Occupational Health (OH) provider, delivering comprehensive workplace health solutions to clients across the UK who are designed to support the effective management of employee health, wellbeing, and productivity in the workplace are looking for an Occupational Health Practitioner to join their team in Cambridge. This role is pivotal in delivering routine assessments, health promotion activities and vaccinations both on site and client offices.This is a peripatetic role involving travel to client sites, working from home, or from our Cambridge office. You will deliver a range of occupational health services, including health surveillance, vaccinations, and wellbeing initiatives, following full training and competency assessment.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical DeliveryConduct health surveillance assessments (e.g.
spirometry, audiometry, skin checks, HAVs, phlebotomy).Administer occupational immunisations and vaccinations.Deliver health promotion and wellbeing activities.Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records using electronic systems.Support infection prevention and control through screening and data collection.Provide basic health advice and guidance to employees and managers.Operational SupportWork independently at client sites following induction and training.Travel between client locations as needed, with time allocated for setup and pack-down.Undertake administrative tasks from home or the office when clinics are cancelled or rescheduled.Support the Clinical Manager in delivering high-quality, commercially minded OH services.Business DevelopmentContribute to the delivery of client KPIs and service excellence.Liaise effectively with clients and internal teams to support service delivery and planning.Person SpecificationRegistered General Nurse (RGN)Experience in immunisation and phlebotomyStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage a varied workloadCompetent in Microsoft OfficeFull, clean UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicleDesirableExperience in health screening and promotionKnowledge of immunisation proceduresRecent Basic Life Support trainingExperience with spirometry, audiometry, ECG, or wellbeing testing (e.g. cholesterol)Employee Benefits25 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time roles)Length of service awardsGroup Life Insurance (Death in Service)Flu vaccination/voucher schemeAccess to a comprehensive benefits platform, including:Retail discountsGym discountsCycle to Work SchemeHealth Shield Cash Plan, including:Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)SkinVision mole-checking appOnline health assessmentsGP Anytime (virtual GP and private prescriptions)
