Job Overview
The Work Delivery Preparator is responsible for the quality work preparation of various discipline scopes following and adhering to WEP (Work Execution Process) principles. Ensuring all key business drivers are achieved and all work is performed in accordance with the company's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality guidelines.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Prepare multi discipline work delivery scopes
• Ensure work orders are accurately built and complete to a high standard with WMS (Work Management System)
• Break down work order requirements to correct discipline level
• Ensure adherence to planning KPI's and gate criteria
• Identify materials, equipment and support required to successfully complete work order requirements
• Identify equipment held in stock and the calling off materials and equipment to complete work order requirements
• Ensure planned maintenance routines are updated to reflect the correct resource and material demands
• Liaise with onshore support and supervisors to confirm all requirements are correctly reflected in the work order
• Liaise with departmental supervisors and discipline trades to understand Planned Maintenance (PM) and Breakdown (BR) job requirements, and identifies materials, equipment and support requirements
• Responsible for determining planned man hours & updating work orders in Maximo with estimated durations
• Responsible for maintaining high quality work orders to reflect real time work preparation status
• Liaise with the Material Coordinator to ensure materials/tools are available for shipping at the correct time to meet activity commencement
• Liaise with technical disciplines and supply chain to ensure materials and equipment meet company standards and requirements
• Connect daily with Work Delivery Coordinator to discuss rough cut scheduling of jobs, material delivery dates, work ready to be entered into plan
• Work with Work Delivery Coordinator to prepare for planned production outages and identify work to be liquidated in opportunity window
• To follow quality plan & lead the identification and implementation of suitable quality controls
• Arrange and track to completion quality activities such as audits, inspections and NCRs
• Feedback on any quality lessons for future work
• Engage with key vendors/suppliers to assess how they are managing quality on UKBU's behalf.
Professional Skills and Experience
• Experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and how to apply it in the workplace
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the maintenance of oil and gas exploration
• Knowledge of safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments
• Skill in applying technical knowledge to determine equipment problems and assisting in identifying appropriate solutions to further develop work packs
• Competent in the use of CMMS
• Experience in WEP (Work Execution Process)
• Awareness and competence in Quality Assurance and Quality Control preferred.
Qualifications and Certifications
• Minimum core trade competence in either Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument disciplines however other qualification and experience will also be considered in a technical discipline at level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
Other Requirements
• The role may require travelling offshore for certain business requirements.
