We have successful experience supporting Early Career Teachers through their induction years and welcome applications from ECTs.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
* Following schemes of work;
* Creating medium-term plans;
* Delivering the curriculum to a class group and supporting students with ASD in learning activities and personal skills.
You will also be expected to take on a subject or curriculum responsibility related to your skills and experience.
Hill House School
Hill House School is a 52-week residential special school providing quality care and education for young people aged 11 to 19 with autism or related difficulties. Our students often have complex needs, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviors.
The school comprises 31 students and offers a curriculum aligned with Key Stage 3 and 4, differentiated to meet individual needs. The school also has a college for post-16 students, offering the OCR Life and Living Skills Award.
We welcome applications from those trained in or experienced with primary settings, given our curriculum's flexibility at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The school is located in the heart of the New Forest National Park, a beautiful area close to the coast.
