Hertfordshire County Council The Centre for Family Safeguarding Practice provides training, mentoring, and a culture of reflective practice. Key Responsibilities: Undertake assessments, child protection enquiries, and ongoing safeguarding work with families. Work in partnership with adult specialists to address underlying causes such as mental health, substance misuse, or domestic abuse. Use motivational interviewing to build engagement and motivate change in parents. Develop and monitor safeguarding plans, attend meetings and court as necessary. Contribute to reflective supervision and team development.Person Specification: Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
