The Package:

£55,000 - £65,000 basic salary (DOE)
*
Company car + fuel card after probation, with pool cars provided beforehand
*
Mileage paid at 45ppm if a personal car is used
*
20 days’ holiday + bank holidays, with a holiday buy/sell scheme
*
Standard hours: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
*
Pension: Aviva – 3% employee, 5% employer

About the Company:
A fast-growing, family-run commercial fit‑out and maintenance contractor with a £13M turnover, employing over 50 tradespeople directly and an equal number through trusted sub‑contractors. With a strong office support team, they deliver high-spec fit‑outs, from office refurbishments and retail roll-outs to supermarket refreshes and maintenance works.
The Role:
As the Commercial Manager, you’ll own the commercial lifecycle of multiple projects (up to £750K each). You’ll:

Lead on cost management, variations, valuations, and final accounts
*
Administer and review subcontractor contracts and performance
*
Monitor commercial risks and ensure contractual compliance
*
Work closely with site teams, Project Coordinators, and Senior Leadership
*
Contribute to bid response, margin forecasting, and strategic decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience in commercial or quantity surveying roles within fit-out or construction
*
Skilled in contract administration, cost control, valuations, and risk mitigation
*
Comfortable managing multiple live contracts and subcontractor relationships
*
Strong communicator, commercially sharp, and detail-oriented
