About the Role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal with a strong background in property litigation, ideally complemented by experience in contested probate matters.
This role sits within a close-knit, collaborative team led by a nationally recognised partner. You will manage a varied caseload with autonomy while benefiting from the guidance and mentorship of a highly experienced partner. The position offers exposure to high-quality work and a clear path for career development within a firm that blends tradition with innovation.
Role profile:
* Independently manage a caseload of property litigation matters
* Support and collaborate with colleagues across contentious probate and private litigation
* Provide strategic legal advice to a diverse client base
* Handle a broad range of disputes
Property Litigation & Landlord/Tenant Disputes:
* Overage disputes
* Easements
* Lease renewals, dilapidations, forfeiture & relief
* Possession claims (residential & commercial)
* Service charge disputes
* Leasehold enfranchisement
* Co-ownership disputes
Contested Probate Disputes:
* A range of disagreements including:
o Administration and distribution of a deceased person’s estate
o Will challenges / validity of a will
o Proposed asset distribution
o Inheritance tax claims
o Construction and rectification claims
o Trust disputes
o Lifetime gifts
