Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the internal electrical design team, mentoring and supporting their professional growth
2. Carry out and review detailed electrical designs and calculations (AC/DC cable sizing, LV AC grading studies, cabinet/connection design)
3. Produce and check SLDs, electrical drawings, and predesign layouts
4. Support G99 and G applications, liaising with inverter manufacturers and ensuring compliance
5. Design and commission communication/monitoring systems, including remote support
6. Oversee Bills of Materials, costings, and Scopes of Work to align technical and commercial outcomes
The Person
To be successful, you will bring:
7. A strong background in electrical design/engineering, ideally within renewable energy, solar PV, or battery storage
8. Solid understanding of industry compliance and electrical design software
9. Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team
10. A proactive, ambitious mindset - keen to grow with a rapidly scaling business
The Package
11. Salary circa £65, depending on experience
12. Company vehicle provided
13. Monday-Friday office hours (37.5 hours per week)
