Role Overview
For September 2026 Dr Challoner's Grammar School is seeking to appoint to a new role of Sixth Form Learning Support Officer, created in response to an increase in the number of students in our co‑educational Sixth Form.
This is a part‑time role, 20 hours per week, preferably worked across 5 mornings. The postholder will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a quiet, purposeful atmosphere in our new learning space, and will act as first port of call for students who might need assistance in developing independent study skills.
The postholder will also support the work of the Director of Sixth Form and the Sixth Form team in relation to Character Challenge activities, careers support and UCAS applications.
Qualifications
* Educated to A level or equivalent.
* Experience of working with young people and in a school environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with students and colleagues.
