Assembly Operator
Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire
Hours: 8.15am – 4.45pm (1.15pm on a Friday) 37.5 hrs a week
Salary: £12.50 (Temp-to-perm)
A leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality medical devices and equipment is currently seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join their team as Production/Factory Operators. Our client is based in an immaculate new facility, with modern technological appliances, so candidates must be proficient in assembling intricate parts. Responsibilities:
* Pick parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, then assemble.
* Assemble devices by examining connections for correct fit.
* Verify specifications by testing manufactured products and produce Test Certificate.
* Print labels with batch information and affix to products.
* Prepare packaging ready for dispatch.
* Work in small teams to ensure the work is being completed promptly and to the best of your ability.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production/factory environment is preferred but not essential.
* Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components with precision.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Must be able to commute to Hertford.
