Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Up to £550 per week
Location: Birmingham Secondary School
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

* Assisting with practical experiments, technical demonstrations, and problem-solving activities
* Delivering 1:1 or small group academic interventions to boost progress and confidence
* Encouraging curiosity, independent learning, and STEM-based enquiry
* Helping manage classroom behaviour and creating a productive learning environment
* Contributing to STEM clubs, competitions, and school-wide enrichment events
* Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree or higher in a STEM subject (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science)
* A strong interest in education and a passion for STEM learning
* Any prior experience working with young people or tutoring is a bonus
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
* A motivated, patient, and proactive attitude to supporting students
