Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
The Role
As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
* Deliver tailored interventions and small-group activities to help pupils meet their individual targets.
* Lead group sessions, teaching and supporting children with additional needs.
* Provide 1:1 support where required, adapting learning materials and approaches to suit each child’s needs.
* Promote positive behaviour strategies and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers to support children’s progress and wellbeing.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Qualified to Level 3 in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
* Experienced in working with children with SEND, ideally within a school setting.
* Skilled in using a range of strategies and resources to support personalised learning.
* Patient, resilient, and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
* An excellent communicator, able to work well as part of a team.
