Children's Support Workers
Cardiff
Full time and Part Time flexible hours/shifts available to work around work and personal commitments
Pay ranges up to £21.21 an hour with holiday pay on top (we do not pay via payroll companies so no hidden fees!)
Brook Street Social Care are recruiting Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to work in a variety of placements with vulnerable children and young people in the local area.
You will be required to support children and YP in a range of environments such as residential children's homes, respite services and emergency placements on an ad hoc short-term and long-term basis.
You will have the chance to work in new and exciting environments with children and gain valuable skills and experience that can be used to progress in your career!
The role will involve -
1. Working as part of an established staff team to delivery best quality care and support.
2. Encouraging engagement with education and extra-curricular activities.
3. Promoting positive and healthy relationships.
4. Engaging the young people in social activities.
5. Maintaining and completing paperwork in a timely manner.
6. Acting as a positive role model.
