Join MBDA UK Ltd as a Finance Officer within the Programmes / contracts finance team and become an integral part of our ambitious and dynamic finance team in Stevenage, UK.
Salary: Circa £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Main responsibilities include:
Owning the invoicing end-to-end process. Raising invoices in different currencies across multiple contracts, providing financial evidence required by the customer, maintaining an updated forecasted receipt date, liaising with the customer to understand invoice status and working with Treasury to resolve any issues.
Working with procurement to maintain an up to date cash out forecast for our major suppliers, ensuring our forecast represents procurements latest assumptions
Performing cost transfers to ensure costs are allocated correctly. Maintaining a log of evidence for these transfers, and assisting the Project Finance team with external audit.
Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in to the domestic customer.
Supporting the Project Finance team during Budget and 5-Year plan with data entry to ensure complete capture of planning perimeter.
Additional adhoc tasks to support the smooth running of the project finance teams.What we are looking for from you:
Organised with strong time management skills
Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
Intermediate level Microsoft Excel user
Ability to build productive working relationships with both Finance and non-Finance colleagues, whilst maintaining independence and integrity
