We now have an opportunity for a Graduate to join their Manufacturing Engineering Team. \r\n\r\n Benefits \r\nCompany pension scheme: the company will match contributions to a maximum of 7.5% \r\nQuarterly Cash Bonus Scheme \r\nGym Membership Discounts, Employee Assistance Programme, Instant Discounts on over 80 high street brands, Cinema Discounts & DC Pension Scheme \r\n\r\n About the Graduate Plant Automation Engineer Role: \r\n\r\n Working alongside an experienced Manufacturing\/ Automation Engineering team: \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects designed to improve health and safety, productivity, Automation and scrap reduction. \r\n\t Involvement in large automation investments – Industrial robot programming, industry 4.0, additive manufacturing, that help with plant improvements and other automation initiatives. \r\n\t Developing fixtures and tooling in CAD. \r\n\t As a Plant Automation Engineer, you will improve the business's daily operational metrics and apply lean manufacturing methods. \r\n \r\n\r\n In addition – project management, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and preparing effective business case documentation to justify further capital expenditure. \r\n\r\n Automation Engineer Requirements: \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Professionally Qualified Engineer (HNC or BEng degree) or appropriate equivalent experience in Mechatronic\/Mechanical\/Automation\/Manufacturing engineering discipline \r\n\t Previous exposure to programming industrial robots, preferably Kawasaki\/Fanuc, however training will be given \r\n\t Hands-on experience in industrial automation – Competency to evaluate hardware design, including I\/O, PLC’s, Industry 4.0 \r\n\t Proficient in 3D CAD – design fixtures and tooling for Additive \/ Conventional manufacturing \r\n\t Ability to communicate effectively through all levels of the organisation \r\n\t Show initiative to identify new opportunities within the business and drive continuous improvement projects \r\n\t Excellent Technical Documentation – Capex proposals, Standard working procedures, training documents \r\n\t Key focus on health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment \r\n\t Fully capable with Microsoft Office suite \r\n \r\n\r\n Core days hours are as follows: \r\n\r\n Mon\/Tuesday 7.30am to 16.30pm Wed\/Thurs 7.30am to 16.15pm Fri 7.30am to 12.00 noon \r\n\r\n Job Posting Graduate Plant Automation Engineer in Leeds as advertised on The JobsBoard. \r\n
