Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to support the delivery of modular accommodation projects across the UK.

In this role, you’ll supervise the safe installation and removal of modular buildings on active project sites. Working closely with the Senior Operations Manager, you’ll ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high quality, while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and wider site teams.

This is a site-based role involving travel and overnight stays, with a company van provided.


What you’ll be doing

* Supervise subcontractors on site
* Deliver task and safety briefings
* Implement risk assessments and method statements
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
* Monitor and report on quality of installations
* Build strong relationships with site teams and customers
* Report hazards, near misses and unsafe behaviours
* Ensure compliance with Balfour Beatty policies and Code of Conduct


Who we’re looking for

Essential:

* CSCS Supervisor or Manager’s Card
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* Proven site experience (minimum 3 years), ideally in modular or construction
* Strong health & safety knowledge
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

* CPCS Lift Supervisor / Appointed Person (Blue Card)
* Slinger Signaller qualification
* Experience with modular or temporary buildings
* Trade background (e.g., joinery, plumbing, electrical)
* NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision
