Transport Administrator / Assistant

Key Responsibilities
*
Handling incoming customer calls and taking orders
*
Accurately entering orders into the Purgo system
*
Assisting the Accounts team in resolving invoice queries
*
Coordinating with customers for skip collections or exchanges
*
Referring new account enquiries to the Sales team
*
Managing skip permit applications and renewals with local authorities
*
Monitoring and resolving issues on the Purgo issue board
*
General administrative duties including filing and record keeping
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience in a transport or logistics office
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email systems, and databases
*
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Excellent verbal and written communication
*
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
*
A team player with a proactive and professional approach
Additional Requirements
*
Good standard of literacy and numeracy
*
Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional Saturdays
