Job Responsibilities and Requirements
* Undertake the necessary training programme to ensure competency.
* Demonstrate satisfactory skills development throughout the training programme.
* Undertake HGV driver training at the required stage within the training programme.
* Operate waste management equipment in a professional and legal manner.
* Achieve standards of performance regarding jobs per day and cleanliness of operations.
* Deliver excellent customer service.
* Ensure all activities are carried out safely and legally.
* Be aware of, understand, and meet required standards of performance.
* Deal with customers in a manner that retains their loyalty and provides outstanding service.
* Assist the Driver Operative to ensure safety and compliance, minimizing impact on health, environment, and public amenities.
* Raise issues, problems, or concerns with your Line Manager promptly.
* Must have a valid Driving Licence.
* Possess excellent communication skills.
* Have experience in providing customer service.
* Be willing to work as part of a team and build a career.
* Be exposed to manual work and lifting.
Qualifications and Experience
* Willingness, enthusiasm, and ability to obtain a Class 2 LGV licence.
* Good general education to GCSE standard or equivalent.
* Willingness to learn operating HGV vehicles and on-site equipment (e.g., jetters, pumps, tools, PPE).
