Job Description
3. Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements for clients.
4. Manage and oversee client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
5. Provide expert advice on tax planning and financial strategies.
6. Support junior team members through mentoring and training.
7. Ensure timely submission of financial reports and tax filings.
8. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering professional guidance.
9. Analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
11. Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with broad UK accounting & tax expertise
12. Experience preparing/statutory accounts and supporting audits
13. Confidence in corporate tax, VAT, personal tax, and self-assessment
14. Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities
15. Excellent IT skills - proficient in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
16. High standards of accuracy with strong prioritisation and communication skills
