Help Young People with SEN Thrive in the Workplace
This is a truly unique opportunity to support young people with learning disabilities and autism as they transition from education into the world of work. Youll be working with employers who are fully committed to making this journey a success providing real opportunities for learners who may have struggled in mainstream education but are ready to thrive in a different environment.
This charitys approach blends job coaching with tailored classroom learning, creating a meaningful pathway for 1624-year-olds with SEN support needs to build confidence, gain qualifications, and succeed in work.
What to Expect
Youll receive excellent support from day one. For the first 1-2 months, youll shadow and support an experienced tutor on site. Youll then start with your own cohort of learners in September.
* Location: 4 days a week on site in eitherPerry Bar and/or Sutton Coldfield (depending on workflow), with a dedicated 1 x day working from their brand new head office inBirminghamfor planning and admin.
* Cohort: Youll support a group of 6-10 learners.
* Role Split: A mix ofjob coachingandtutoring.
