Who You Are The ideal candidate is a highly motivated Estates Surveyor with a degree in Surveying and membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or significant relevant experience. You have a strong commitment to providing quality services, commercial and financial awareness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team within various sectors. You display flexibility, innovation, and are a team player with excellent communication and numeracy skills. You must have access to a suitable vehicle for work use and hold a current driving license. What the Job Involves The role involves assisting in the effective management and development of the Council's estate, ensuring internal control systems including asset databases, GIS systems, and property management software are up to date and efficient. You will provide timely estates and valuation advice, manage lease renewals and rent reviews, support property acquisitions and disposals, and assist with corporate boards and committees. Additionally, you will be responsible for budget management, promoting services, and fulfilling out-of-hours duties to support the Asset Management and Property Services (AMPS) team.
