Job purpose:
The Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality service and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
Contract: 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days | 30 hours per week, across 4 days | 22.5 hours per week, across 3 days | 15 hours per week, across 2 days | 7.5 hours per week, across 1 day
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
* Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food and drinks.
* Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
* Monitor tables and attend to guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
* Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues as needed.
* Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations.
* Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as restocking supplies.
* Report all hazards and/or concerns immediately to the manager on duty.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred but not required.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
* Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Accessing the airport:
A five-year working and personal reference, along with a Criminal Reference Check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge.
