About the Department:
The UK Sync Department handles music exploitation and administration across media sectors such as film, TV, advertising, gaming, and more.
About the Role:
This role supports the UK Sync team with licensing and creative tasks, including contract drafting, international clearances, and managing relationships with the Stellar Songs catalogue. Attendance at industry events and artist gigs is encouraged. The role reports to the VP Licensing and VP Creative, working closely with the Sync Manager to meet objectives and budgets.
Responsibilities:
* Manage licensing processes, including deal entry, drafting licenses and invoices.
* Coordinate approval processes for UK and international sync requests for specific catalogues.
* Assist with artist/writer clearances across media sectors.
* Liaise with songwriters and artists on sync queries.
* Pitch, quote, and negotiate deals within the TV media sector.
* Generate reports on sync activity and pitches for management and writers/artists.
* Support songwriter audits and seek approval for low-fee licensing requests.
* Attend industry events, client meetings, and artist gigs.
* Perform data entry and ad-hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
* High accuracy and strong organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to collaborate across departments and with clients.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* A passion for music and the media industry.
* Experience as a music supervisor or in media industry roles.
* Client-facing experience and industry contacts.
* Experience with data entry tasks.
Willingness to attend networking events and gigs outside of work hours.
