Description Role: International Recruitment Operations Assistant Grade and Salary: Grade 4 (£24,546- £26,707) FTE and working pattern: 1FTE: full-time (35 hours per week) open-ended Reward and Benefits : 28 days annual leave plus 9 buildings closed days (and Christmas Eve when it falls on a weekday). Purpose of Role Reporting to the International Recruitment Operations Manager, this postholder will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of services related to international student recruitment activities.You will successfully deliver International Recruitment support for Scottish campuses and selected regional teams and global services across the broader Institution, and act as an ambassador for Heriot-Watt University. This role will allow you to develop your career in a dynamic and truly global higher education environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities You will provide support for the study abroad/semester abroad programmes, including acting as the point of contact for partners, enquiries, identifying study routes and providing support for campus visits You will provide support for agency invoice processing You will provide general support for Regional Team activities, including co-ordinating their visits, agency visits, fair attendance and campus-based activities You will co-ordinate international applicant visits, including providing campus tours, and arranging for visiting applicants to meet with relevant key contacts You will manage email mailboxes, working with teams across the University to ensure consistency of messaging You will provide administrative support for the Director, International Recruitment You will provide support for any other International Recruitment Team activities including clerking meetings Essential & Desirable Criteria Essential Educated to first degree level or equivalent Cultural awareness and ability to operate in a global environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach. Good track record of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, stakeholders and others Experience in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Desirable Experience of working in the International Student Recruitment sector Demonstratable experience of teamwork How to Apply Applications can be submitted up to 11:55pm (UK time) on Sunday 10th May Please submit your CV & covering letter via the Heriot-Watt on-line recruitment page.
