The role
is designed to address a common challenge in AI programmes: strong ideas that struggle to scale because early technical decisions were not grounded in delivery reality. You will ensure that solutions are designed with implementation, security and long‑term value in mind from the outset.
You will be a visible technical leader, working directly with senior client and internal stakeholders to explain architecture choices, challenge assumptions, and build confidence in proposed solutions. Rather than owning revenue targets, your success will be measured by improved solution quality, faster decision‑making, and stronger conversion from idea to delivery.

What you'll do:
1. Build and lead a senior AI solution architecture and technical pre‑sales team
2. Shape AI solutions at early stages to ensure they are scalable and delivery‑ready
3. Define standard AI architecture patterns and reference designs
4. Increase reuse of solution components, demos and prototypes
5. Reduce time taken to move from opportunity to validated technical solution
6. Act as senior technical authority in complex AI solution discussions
7. Improve quality and consistency of technical proposals and designs
8. Work closely with engineering leaders to align solution design with delivery capability
This role is for you if you have:
9. Experience leading solution architecture or technical pre‑sales teams
10. Strong background designing enterprise‑scale AI and data‑driven solutions
11. Experience turning early‑stage concepts into scalable technical designs
12. Ability to balance commercial urgency with sound architectural decisions
13. Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
14. Confidence engaging with senior technical and non‑technical audiences
15. Experience defining and enforcing architecture standards
16. Strong collaboration skills across business, architecture and engineering teams
