If so we would love to hear from you. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Technician for a set of schools in Preston who can join us in September. We believe in the importance of physical education and sports in promoting health, well-being, and personal development among our pupil's.
As a PE Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our physical education curriculum and extracurricular sports activities. You will work closely with PE teachers and coaches to ensure that equipment, facilities, and resources are readily available for pupil's participation and learning.

Job Responsibilities:
7. Assist PE teachers in preparing and setting up equipment, materials, and facilities for lessons and sports activities.
8. Maintain sports equipment, including cleaning, repairing, and organising inventory as needed.
9. Support PE teachers and coaches during practical sessions, matches, and sports events, providing technical assistance and supervision.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures in sports facilities and activities.
11. Assist in the organisation and administration of sports competitions, fixtures, and tournaments, both within the school and with external partners.
12. Provide support with the supervision and management of pupil's during PE lessons and extracurricular sports clubs.
13. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive sports culture and ethos within the school community.
Preferred Skills:
14. Previous experience working in a sports-related role, such as a PE technician, sports coach, or fitness instructor, is desirable.
15. A passion for sports and physical education, with knowledge of a range of sports and recreational activities.
16. A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and dedication to supporting the well-being and development of pupil's through sports.
17. A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in sports participation and provision.
Personal Attributes:
18. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
19. Legal right to work in the UK.
