Role
An established and highly regarded law firm based in Bath is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its busy claimant Clinical Negligence team. The role offers the opportunity to act exclusively for claimants, representing individuals and families in complex, high-value clinical negligence claims.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied claimant caseload from inception to conclusion, including birth injuries, misdiagnosis, surgical errors, and fatal claims.
* Provide a compassionate, thorough, and strategic service to clients.
* Work closely with clients to ensure client care and clear communication.
Caseload Examples
* Birth injury claims (Third & Fourth Degree Tears)
* Cancer misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis cases
* Brain injury and stroke claims
* Surgical errors (bile duct injuries, cholecystectomy claims)
* Cauda equina syndrome and spinal injury claims
* Wrongful diagnosis and delayed treatment matters
* Fatal clinical negligence claims
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in claimant clinical negligence.
* Proven experience managing claimant matters independently.
* Strong client care skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and case management abilities.
* Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently.
