FCRMS Asset Management Business Systems Team Senior Advisor – 32232

In your role, you will support the Asset Management Business Systems Team’s carbon management goals. You will help embed carbon management throughout the delivery of our infrastructure programme and the ongoing management of assets. This involves working closely with internal teams and external suppliers including FCRM, Operations teams, Defra’s Digital, Data and Technology Services (DDTS), Local Authorities, Water Companies, IPANAR, and civil engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Support EA and external users of operational carbon tools.
* Manage and deliver a range of services to users of carbon tools.
* Agree on and maintain service levels with diverse user groups.
* Act as a senior product user for digital improvement projects of carbon tools and data.
* Plan and manage user activities during the implementation of carbon tool changes and improvements.
* Manage resources and funding for carbon tool support and maintenance.
* Collaborate with operational carbon communities and national leads.
* Work with IT suppliers and cross‑agency stakeholders to realise IT project improvements that enable efficient asset management.
Qualifications & Experience
* Significant experience in carbon management for infrastructure assets, projects or programmes.
* Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes.
* Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services.
* Experience developing training and documentation.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and quality.
* Strong customer focus and relationship‑building skills.
* Self‑management and initiative‑driven attitude.

Application Process
The role is predominantly office‑based, but travel will be required occasionally. Any location for your office base is acceptable. The first interview will be scheduled from the week commencing 1st December 2025.
