Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Mental Health Nurse for the position of Band 7 Team Leader within the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team. The role provides clinical, professional and operational leadership to a community mental health nursing team delivering specialist care to older adults with functional mental illness, dementia and complex co‑morbid physical health needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead a nursing team, maintaining a reduced caseload of complex service users.
* Deliver high quality assessment, risk management and person‑centred interventions within community settings.
* Support staff wellbeing, development and contribute to service improvement and clinical governance activity.
* Work in close partnership with carers, primary care, social work, inpatient services and third‑sector partners to ensure safe, effective and coordinated care across the Older Adults pathway.
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse with significant post‑registration experience.
* Evidence of leadership or supervisory experience within mental health services.
* Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a car.
Benefits
* 36 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
* Attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000.
