Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
The shift pattern for this position is Monday-Thursday 16:30-19:30 and Friday 16:30-19:18. Please note that the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
Your duties will include working in the kitchen and ward areas to deliver high-quality catering services to patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include taking patient food orders, serving food at ward level, maintaining cleanliness, replenishing supplies, and safely using cleaning agents and electrical equipment such as the Burlodge Regen Oven and dishwasher. Protective clothing will be provided, and you will need to complete daily/weekly sign-off sheets and HACCP paperwork. Flexibility in daily routines is required.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa, and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship.
