Overview
The opportunity has arisen to lead The Bath Priory kitchen as Executive Head Chef. The Bath Priory is a renowned 5 Red Star Hotel and Spa, established as one of the best in Bath. The kitchens and restaurants have showcased excellence for decades. This is a rare opportunity to be the custodian of The Bath Priory's next culinary journey.
We are looking for an outstanding leader, an inspirational figure and culinary expert who has achieved 4 to 5 AA Rosettes; with inspired Michelin star quality food, and the ability to coach and develop others to do the same.
The hotel and spa is a quality-led restaurant, with a unique L’Occitane Spa (the only one in the UK) and a member of Relais & Châteaux, offering development opportunities and experiences few others can provide.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the incoming Executive Chef will set the culinary agenda for the hotel, ensuring guests have an exceptional food experience, whether feasting fireside or celebrating in one of the dining rooms.
* Grow and develop the culinary offering from breakfast through to afternoon tea and celebratory meals, so that flavour and fun are always guaranteed.
* Focus on quality food and great experiences for guests, cooking for up to 50 covers in the dining rooms and up to 75 in the casual setting (outdoor terrace and indoor casual restaurant).
* Be inspired by Bath’s location in a UNESCO World Heritage area, with access to local produce, regional suppliers, and a kitchen garden.

* Bath is a city in Somerset, England, known for its Roman baths and the River Avon; it is 97 miles west of London and 11 miles southeast of Bristol.
* The Bath Priory is set in a grand 1835 Georgian manor on 4 acres of gardens; the hotel is 2 miles from the Roman Baths and 3 miles from the city centre.
* Bath has good transport links, including Bath Spa train station on the main line between Bristol and London; Bristol Airport is about an hour away, and the city is close to the M4 motorway.

* An experienced and highly skilled chef at 4 to 5 AA Rosette level with Michelin star standards.
