Are you caring, resilient, and passionate about helping young people? We’re looking for a Residential Support Workerto join a warm and welcoming children’s home in Aylesbury.

Your Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day care of the young people living in the home. Your key responsibilities will include:
Building positive, trusting relationships with children aged 8–17
Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development
Promoting independence and life skills through daily routines and activities
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of each child
Working collaboratively with a team and external professionals
Participating in activities, school runs, meal preparation, and household tasks
Completing daily logs and contributing to care plans
Taking part in sleep-in shifts and occasional weekend work
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (residential care ideal, but not essential)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it – full funding provided)
What We Offer
Competitive salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (plus additional sleep-in payments)
