Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Location: City of London (Hybrid)

£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated BI Developer to join a dynamic global team based in the City of London. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data, analytics, and driving business insights through robust BI and integration solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing reporting capabilities, developing data architecture, and transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate business requirements into scalable and insightful data models and dashboards using Power BI.
* Design, develop, and maintain interactive visual reports and dashboards.
* Monitor and evaluate KPIs aligned with business objectives.
* Create and manage multidimensional and tabular data models, perform DAX queries, and improve existing BI systems.
* Collaborate with the Applications team and stakeholders across the business to deliver technical BI solutions.
* Analyse and enhance current ETL processes and data warehouses.
* Integrate systems using APIs and ensure robust documentation of all data processes.
* Provide third-line support and manage service tickets efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in BI development or related data-focused roles.
* Proven ability in developing data integration and reporting solutions.
* Hands-on expertise with the following:
o Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
o Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and HR (Beneficial not essential)
o Microsoft SQL & T-SQL scripting
o Azure Data Factory
o Data warehousing, OLAP cubes, in-memory data models (Beneficial not essential)
o Office 365, SharePoint Online
* Experience across the full project lifecycle and strong knowledge of testing methodologies.
* Strong DAX skills and the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders would also be beneficial but not essential)
* Background working alongside development teams and contributing to system improvements.
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Exposure to DevOps, M, JSON, Fetch XML, or Python
* Understanding of AI and emerging technologies
* Business analysis skills
* Experience in or knowledge of the recruitment industry
