Teaching Assistant – Complex SEN (Totton)
Location: Totton, Hampshire
Contract: Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available

They are a large and vibrant SEN school in Totton, catering for children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of severe and complex learning needs. They are currently looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the wonderful class teams and support the pupils to achieve their very best.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting children and young people in the classroom, helping them to learn and grow in small, meaningful steps
* Working closely with teachers and other professionals as part of a collaborative, caring team
* Providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment tailored to each pupil’s individual needs
* Celebrating every success – no matter how big or small – and playing a vital role in the progress of our learners
* Working in either the Primary or Secondary school helping support the teachers with a friendly face
What we’re looking for:
* A positive, reliable, and patient person who truly cares about supporting children with SEN
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
* A commitment to working hard and a willingness to learn
* Previous experience is helpful deu to the complex needs of the children, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
