My long-established specialist construction company has a new role to support its compliance and site planning functions This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong IT and CAD skills to grow into a specialist role within a supportive and evolving team.
About the Role:
This is a Q&A-focused position responsible for producing fire remediation documentation and traffic management plans You’ll be working closely with site teams to document works, support EWS1 reporting for residents, and ensure all traffic and fire safety documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities of the Document Controller include:
7. Create and maintain Fire Barrier Reports
8. Support the production of EWS1 documentation for residents
9. Develop and update Traffic Management Plans as part of site setup permissions
10. Capture and compile photographic evidence of on-site works for fire safety documentation
11. Liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance with fire remediation protocols
12. Maintain accurate digital records and documentation
13. Assist with general technical compliance queries and reporting
What They’re Looking For:
14. Extremely IT literate with strong digital documentation skills
15. CAD experience is a plus
16. Experience in fire remediation or construction compliance is highly desirable
17. Familiarity with Plan Radar (or similar platforms) is a plus
18. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
19. A proactive learner with a willingness to grow into the role
20. Ideally suited to someone early in their career (age 25–30) looking to develop technical expertise
